Spoke with @Ask_Spectrum Executive and they confirmed that unlike @ATT & @Verizon they don't have backup generators for their equipment.This means anytime Spectrum loses power for an hour+ you'll lose service. If you rely on Internet and can switch, you should#DitchSpectrum

PRO TIP: if Spectrum ever cold-calls you to upsell you something you don’t want but won’t take the hint, bring up the fact they charged you for a previous upsell they never delivered and watch them suddenly let you get back to your day REAL quick. (@GetSpectrum)

@michaelmirer @Ask_Spectrum You should switch to AT&T fiberoptic. We've never had an internet outage that lasted more than 2 or 3 minutes. With 4 of us using the internet all day for the last year, it's been pretty nice. Spectrum is trash.

@GetSpectrum Spectrum is the definition of Greed. They offer no discounts unless you sign up for more services. They raised my bill 10.00 because they could. They are beyond to big to fail and are overpriced. Ridiculous to pay 150.00 for just Cable. #corporategreed #monopoly

@Ask_Spectrum Got a TV pkg service that I DID NOT ASK FOR, added 2 my Spectrum account, and while I've been OUT OF TOWN??! Called Spectrum and rep was 'arguing' with me 2 add on more services. Asked 4 supervisor. Was told none available for 2 days? Spectrum SUCKS!

SPAM pervades all forms of telecommunications & its so bad SPAM even manages to penetrate virtual mailboxes of non activated voice mail boxes. I worked at @BellLabs for nearly a decade - I know this is solvable if there is commercial will. We know there isnt @Verizon @GetSpectrum
